Run any OVA/VMDK/QCOW2 virtual machine image on Elestio using QEMU/KVM.
Upload virtual machine images in any popular format: OVA, VMDK, QCOW2, TAR.GZ, or ZIP. The runner automatically detects, extracts, and converts your image to QCOW2 so the VM is ready to boot with zero manual conversion steps.
Upload your VM image via SFTP or SCP and walk away. The runner continuously monitors the upload directory, detects new files within seconds, and automatically starts the virtual machine; no SSH commands or manual intervention are needed.
VMs run on hardware-accelerated QEMU/KVM with configurable CPU cores and RAM allocation. Virtio drivers for disk and network ensure near-native I/O performance inside a lightweight Debian container with full /dev/kvm passthrough.
Expose any port inside your VM to the internet via automatic QEMU port forwarding (default: port 80 + SSH on port 22). Optionally attach a cloud-init ISO for hands-free provisioning, set passwords, install packages, and run startup scripts on first boot.
