Get up and running with Trek on Elestio in a few minutes.
Trek lets you and your travel companions plan a trip together in real time, dragging places between days, tracking budgets and bookings, and maintaining packing lists, all from a self-hosted server rather than a commercial trip-planning app. It integrates interactive maps (Leaflet, Mapbox or MapLibre) with route planning, weather forecasts, and public-transport itineraries for a given destination. Sign-in supports OIDC SSO, passkeys (WebAuthn) and TOTP multi-factor authentication, alongside standard email/password login. It's open-core: the deployed edition is MIT-licensed, with a paid ee directory reserved for future Pro/Enterprise features, though none exist in the repo yet. This deploy bundles a Postgres database and a pgAdmin console alongside the main app.
The full walkthrough with screenshots is in the installation guide.
Open your service in the Elestio dashboard and go to the Overview tab. Click Display Admin UI to reveal the URL, username and password of your Trek instance.
If the password field is blank, Trek does not ship with a pre-created admin user: open the admin URL to start its setup. Software without a web interface, such as databases, is reached with the credentials and port listed in the same tab. See Admin UI and credentials.
